about FunGuy Studio

In 2007, entrepreneur Graeme Warring and programmer Darwin Tardio came up with the most brilliant idea to effectively combine play and work – build a game development company and bring high-quality games to life! But this promising business venture cannot be done by the two of them alone, and so they searched and recruited highly-skilled, creative and passionate professionals who also saw their vision. Not too long thereafter, FunGuy Studio was born.

Starting with a team of merely 5 people, the company developed browser-based Flash games and virtual world for kids tied in with toys. FunGuy Studio was able to break into the gaming industry and grew to become one of the most stable and respected game development studios. Focusing on the vision of making it big in the gaming industry, the company soon dove into developing games for Facebook, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and now supports development for Xbox and Playstation. In 2012, FunGuy Studio partnered with Phoenix-based 2XL Games, producing 2 FunGuys Inc. Today, the company has expanded its services: game development and design, mobile apps development and design, web services, and digital marketing.

The development team of FunGuy Studio is composed of highly-skilled producers, game designers, 3D and 2D artists, programmers, audio composers and network engineers who are also gamers, living the dream of playing and creating games as a career. The FunGuys (and girls) are experts in using cutting-edge technology and software such as 2XL Engine, Unity3D, Adobe CS, 3ds Max and Maya, and SmartFox among others.

FunGuy Studio has also expanded its game development services – from Business Apps, Ecommerce, CMS and corporate website development, 2D and 3D animation, to Mobile Marketing.

The company may have made a name for itself but they see to it that they’re not the only ones benefiting from this success. FunGuy Studio is heavily involved in working with academes and the government for the long-term development of the Philippine game development industry. The company is a member of the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) where FunGuy Studio’s co-founder became the president in 2011-212 and vice-president in 2012-2013.

The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona and its technology development studio is in Makati, Philippines.
